International Press Office (OIP) Has Opened Its Doors
This is the twelfth year that the International Press Office (OIP) in Pamplona has opened its doors to enable you to better cover the fiesta of Sanfermines. We are centrally located on the top floor of the Tourism Office at Roncesvalles, 4, beside the monument of the running of the bulls. The OIP is a service provided by the Association of Journalists of Navarra and is also aided by the Town Hall of Pamplona and the Government of Navarra.
Since the year 2000, in addition to the handling of accreditations granted by the Town Hall for the encierro or the running of the bulls, the OIP has served as a “news room” for our visiting and local journalists, providing such services as wifi, printer, computers and a place to write, rest and regroup. This year photographers and cameramen will have lockers where they can safely store their gear.
There are five members of the Press Association working in the OIP for 15 days during Sanfermines: Sara Ancín, Josune Arévalo, Patxi Cervantes, Lucinda Poole and Irene Viseras. The Office was opened on July 2 to make sure that you would have everything you need in place. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and greeting new ones, and if we do not have the information you request, we will know where to send you. Do not hesitate to drop by.
